Match the Treatment Method to the Chemistry (OA Sublimation vs. Amitraz Fogging)
Oxalic acid must sublime—solid to vapor—at the hot surface (OA dihydrate begins at ~157 °C / 315 °F); an electric vaporizer or a propane-heated coil does this cleanly so the plume coats bees and woodwork. Amitraz requires a fogger/smoker that drives medicated smoke with a micro-motor fan; it’s not interchangeable with OA—mixing methods wastes time and risks harm.
